[GVCP] Ben Linder, PRESENTE!

Dear GVCP Member, Ben Linder was a young engineer murdered by the U.S.-supported Contras in 1987. To younger members, this will appear to be ancient history, but it is still living history for some of us. Unfortunately, Ben Linder can’t be here to celebrate the fact that Nicaragua is still a democracy, and the engineering project on which he was working is now supplying electricity to the people in that rural region. Solidarity activists still visit Ben’s grave, which is in the cemetery in Matagalpa. I say, with Catherine Cusic, Benjamin Linder, PRESENTE!
