(August 2013) On August 6, 1945, the U.S. dropped the first nuclear bomb, on Hiroshima, Japan. At the end of World War II, atomic power represented hope. Now, 60+ years later, people around the world see nuclear weapons (and nuclear power) as incompatible with long-term human survival. Stand with us for sustainable future, free of nuclear weapons!
