Please join a discussion on Islam with Dr. Khalid and Sabeeha Rehman, author of Threading My Prayer Rug: One Woman’s Journey from Pakistani Muslim to American Muslim. They will discuss women in Islam, family life, the Quran, Shariah, and the Shia-Sunni divide. Dr. Rehman is a retired Hematologist/Oncologist and is a recipient of many medical awards. Sabeeha Rehman is a contributor to The Wall Street Journal. Her book was listed in the Top 10 Religion and Spirituality Books of 2016 by Booklist. The Rehmans are respected speakers at Chautauqua Institution, NY.
This program and the book review noted below are both free and open to the public. There will be an opportunity for questions and answers at both events.
