NEXT REGULAR GVCP MEETING is Saturday, January 26th, 1:00 PM (Lunch), 1:30 PM (Meeting).  Mae’s Restaurant, 4182 Lakeville Rd (Route 20A) Geneseo.  Note Saturday meeting date.

This Month’s Letter  Write to nuclear resisters who are in jail. Nuclear resisters in jail appreciate your words of support. Please follow the very harsh guidelines below when you write your postcards.  No letters or packages allowed.

All are imprisoned in Glynn County Detention Center, 100 Sulphur Springs Road, Brunswick, GA 31520.

Please note:  Prisoners may only receive plain white pre-stamped postcards written in blue or black ink. Postcards may not have any pictures or backgrounds on them.  Plain white pre-stamped postcards may be purchased at some post offices and online.  Do not include anything except inmate’s name, address, and serial number, and your handwritten return address on the mailing front.  No return address labels.  Prison authorities will read the postcards.  Do not include political messages that prison authorities might find threatening.  (Kings Bay Plowshares activists held on multiple charges following arrest at Kings Bay nuclear submarine base in Georgia, 4/5/18.)  [From Nuclear Resister #190.] <nukeresister.org/inside-out>

Renew your GVCP Membership.  Dues are $40.00 (more if possible, less if necessary).  We do not request dues from students, from other organizations with which we exchange newsletters, or from any of our overseas sister organizations.  Remember that GVCP only asks for financial contributions once a year.  These membership dues are our only source of income.
