The Genesee Valley Council on the Arts will have its 2019 Members’ Exhibit, Freedom of Expression, on display from February 15th to March 16th. The opening reception is Thursday, February 21st, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.
At the reception, the Paula Henry Peace Prize will be awarded to an artist with the best artwork honoring the memory of long-time peace activist and GVCP member Paula Henry. (Please see attachment for more details.)
The address for the GVCA is 4 Murray Hill Drive, Mt. Morris, NY 14510. If you haven’t been to the Livingston County Murray Hill Campus in Mt. Morris, getting to the GVCA can be daunting. Don’t worry—your GPS knows where it is. Also, here’s a link to the GVCA website: <https://gvartscouncil.org/>. You can find more information there.
I’ve been to previous Members’ Exhibits, and the art is always wonderful. Also, of course, you’ll be able to applaud the winner of the Paula Henry Peace Prize.
See you there!
