This month’s letter: No War with Iran! The escalations towards war with Iran just continue. I’m afraid that by now people are saying, “If Trump wants war, he’ll just go ahead and start one.” We can’t let that happen.
Remember that the escalations with Iran began with unilateral withdrawal from the international nuclear agreement. Punishing embargoes followed next. Iran is reacting as any sovereign nation would react when faced with attack. It is America’s duty to de-escalate tensions, not to intensify them.
Please write to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, and Majority Whip Jim Clyburn. (Also, your own Representative.)
