Please tune into “Connections With Evan Dawson” (WXXI 1370 AM), Tuesday, November 16th, 2021 at 12:00 Noon when Evan will be interviewing VFP Chapter 23 President Rev. James L. Swarts, VFP Chapter 23 Treasurer Marybeth Knowles, Nazareth College Professor Dr. Esperanza Roncero, and former Marine and former deported veteran Manuel “Manny” Valenzuela. Evan’s program will be covering the Deported Veterans/No One Left Behind issue as a prelude to Tuesday evenings broadcast of American Exile, a documentary about U.S. military veterans who have been deported, or face deportation, because of lack of citizenship status. American Exile will be broadcast at 10:00 PM EST Tuesday on WXXI, Channel 21, following Part 4 of American Veteran, “The Reckoning” which airs at 10:00 PM EST. Outside of Rochester area please check your local PBS station. Those who have been able to catch the three previous segments of American Veteran would have seen VFP members Kelly Wadsworth and Randy Rowland of the Seattle chapter of Veterans For Peace, and both wearing their VFP shirts as good publicity for VFP.
