This date is the fifth anniversary of the passing of Rep. John Lewis (Georgia), one of our elders from the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s. Across the nation the Transformative Justice Coalition, Indivisible, and 200 partner organizations are organizing peaceful rallies, marches, and events to honor John Lewis’ memory and to highlight the authoritarian actions of the current regime.
It’s hard to organize a midweek event, but that’s what we’re doing. Please attend!
