A Season for Peace Advocacy
GVCP will sponsor a rally on Saturday, December 6th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM in Gateway Park, Geneseo (across the road from Wegmans—intersection of 20A and Volunteer Road). Santa will be there!
Genesee Valley Citizens for Peace is observing our 40th annual December rally to raise community awareness about the long-term dangers of war toys. Please come out with us during this holiday season to stand up for peace and justice.
In this time of rising threats of violence and bigotry in our country, Genesee Valley Citizens for Peace urges you to join us in advocating for the purchase of peaceful toys for children, an end to nuclear weapons, and for breaking the cycle of violence.
Bring a peaceful toy—teddy bear, doll, musical instrument.
It’s always cold at that location, so dress warmly. If Gateway Park parking lot is full, you can park across the street in the shopping plaza parking lot. Be sure to cross 20A at the designated pedestrian crossing with the traffic light!
