On a bright and sunny Saturday morning (June 28, 2025), about 75 community members gathered in Geneseo to say No More War! and Hands Off Iran! Genesee Valley Citizens for Peace (GVCP) organized this anti-war march in response to President Trump’s illegal, immoral, unconstitutional bombing of Iran
Update – No War with Iran – Rally Saturday, June 28
We oppose President Trump’s unlawful and immoral order to bomb Iran. We believe Trump’s actions could lead to a full scale war. We call on the U.S. government to refrain from any further aggression against Iran. All anti-war signs or banners are welcome. If you have time to make a sign for this occasion, please do so!
No War with Iran – Rally Saturday, June 28
No War with Iran – Rally Saturday, June 28 – We did not agree with President Trump’s unlawful order to bomb Iran. We believe there are continuing risks of a full declaration of war, and in the short term this act endangers US civilians and military personnel in the Middle East and around the world. All anti-war signs or banners are welcome. If you have time to make a sign for this occasion, please do so!
Amazing turnout for emergency rally in Avon
As you can see, we had an amazing turnout—over 50 people—despite a last-minute call to action and 98-degree heat. (Everybody told us to stay home, but we didn’t.)
