SAVE THE DATE – Israeli Peace Advocate at SUNY Geneseo on September 14th!

August 2, 2016

Through a combined effort of student and faculty work at SUNY Geneseo over the past month, they will be bringing renowned international speaker Miko Peled to SUNY Geneseo on Wednesday, September 14, 2016.

Miko Peled is the son of a famous Israeli general, and author of The General’s Son: Journey of an Israeli in Palestine.  See (https://mikopeled.com/ ) and (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miko_Peled).

Mr. Peled is an outspoken critic of Israel’s treatment of the Palestinians, and speaks from his experience growing up in Israel, and his service in the Israel’s Special Forces.  He has followed in his father’s footsteps in criticizing Israel’s land grab after the 1967 war and the subsequent treatment of the Palestinian peoples.

Time and location will be updated when they are finalized here.

Miko’s talk at SUNY Geneseo is actually piggy-backing on a talk he will be giving in Rochester on Thursday, September 15th, at the invitation of Christians Witnessing For Palestine (CW4P).  Jewish Voices For Peace (JVP) is also involved in his visit to Rochester.
