Hands Off Iran
President Trump has launched a massive direct U.S. attack against Iran. Genesee Valley Citizens for Peace will hold a protest this Saturday in Geneseo. We will meet on Saturday, June 28th, 10:00 AM, in front of the Geneseo Village Park on the corner of Main Street and Route 20A. This will be a legal, nonviolent protest.
This war will lead to enormous suffering and death among Iranians and others in the region, and could also lead to large numbers of U.S. casualties. Of course, the war means that enormous wealth again will be taken away from meeting human needs in order to feed the war machine.
This war could engulf the entire Middle East or even the whole world. In these critical days and hours, all people who oppose the war machine need to be in the streets!
Protesting takes energy, and people are still winding down from our huge June 14th rally and our emergency rally on June 23rd. However, we all need to rise up again to oppose Trump’s war on Iran.
