Over 150 people stood up for the US Constitution, democracy, and human rights in Lima, NY. Rep. Claudia Tenney, we missed seeing you there. One sign was an excerpt of Tenney’s oath of office, the one where she swore to support the constitution.
And look! A special visit from Donald Trump!
We filled all four corners of the intersection of Routes 5&20 and Route 15A.
Very positive responses from almost all of the passersby. (A few people said “Get a job.” – We have a job—saving democracy.)
Next Saturday—8/30—GVCP will support a rally by Genesee Valley Indivisible at the Avon Traffic Circle at 11:00 AM. The theme will be Solidarity with Labor.
