Dear GVCP Member,
I’m forwarding this letter from Atshushi Tajima. I think that these events are worth attending, if you can get to them.
Hello Arnold,
This is Atsushi Tajima . . . at SUNY Geneseo. Perhaps you and the GVCP members are aware of the following events regarding atomic bombs. But I am passing the info along in case you have not heard of it yet. If not yet, can you pass the info to the GVCP members?
1. Central Library of Rochester & Monroe County will have an exhibition entitled “Hiroshima-Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Exhibit,” Sept. 16-28. See https://calendar.libraryweb.org/event/5813543 for more info.
2. Ms. Sadae Kasaoka, an atomic bomb survivor (hibakusha) from Hiroshima, will give a testimonial talk on Thursday, 9/19 & Saturday, 9/21 (See the schedule below.). She was 12 years old when Hiroshima was a-bombed.

All of these events are open to public. Atomic bomb survivors’ testimony today is increasingly precious, even in Japan. We are fortunate to have this very rare and precious opportunity to hear Sadae’s story, who comes to Rochester all the way from Japan.
I am attaching flyers both in English and Japanese.
Thanks, Atsushi
