TPNW Rally in Rochester, NY
Annette Dragon captured some magnificent photos at the TPNW rally held in Rochester on January 23rd. The rally was coordinated by the Rochester Chapter 23 of Veterans For Peace, with the Genesee Valley Citizens for Peace as a co-sponsor. Despite the inclement weather, the rally drew a respectable crowd of about 25 individuals.
Jim Swarts of Veterans For Peace and Holly Adams of Genesee Valley citizens for Peace played a crucial role in organizing the event, and can be seen in the photos with a bullhorn. The rally, held outside the Federal Building, included powerful statements delivered to the offices of Senators Schumer and Gillibrand, as well as letters and postcards in support of the TPNW initiative.
