Genesee Valley Citizens for Peace, along with our allies, Rochester Chapter 23 Veterans For Peace, will hold our 49th annual candlelight vigil to commemorate the Atomic Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki that took place August 6th and 9th, 1945. 78 years after these horrific events, the nations of the world have still not managed to eliminate these terrible weapons.
